Giving information about the legal process - for citizens - GRAD ŠABAC
Based on Art. 39 of the Law on the legalization of the building, the competent authority shall issue a certificate confirming that the facility is in the process of legalization for temporary connection of the same to the utility infrastructure.
Busy public area - awning
Awning is a freestanding construction with an appropriate hood with the aim of protecting it from the sun. Awning can be placed only within the summer garden, provided that no object is formed. Other types of freestanding canopies can not be placed on public spaces as stand-alone objects. The purpose of the procedure is to enable the submitter of the request to use the public area in order to lay the awning. At the request of the applicant, the tent is placed on the basis of the Decision of the bodies of the City Administration in charge of public affairs.

Initiative for changing the spatial / urban plan
The purpose of the procedure is to launch an initiative for the adoption, or modification of, a general or detailed regulation plan. Natural and legal persons may initiate this initiative in written form. Upon completion of the procedure, the client receives a notification of the status of the initiative.
Control of the compliance of the foundations
The contractor submits to the body a statement on the completion of the development of the foundation, accompanied by a geodetic record of the foundations. Upon receipt of the statement, the competent authority shall carry out the control of the compliance of the built foundation and issue a written confirmation thereof. If the competent authority determines that there are deviations, it immediately informs the construction inspector with an order to start the suspension work.
Determining the number of a special part of the building
The number of a special part of the building is determined by the decision of the Department for Construction and Utilities and investment design within 15 ( fifteen ) days from the date of submission of the client's proper request.

Preparatory works
For the execution of preparatory works that precede the construction of a building with a gross construction area of over 800m2 (demolition of existing buildings, relocation of infrastructure, clearing of the terrain, installation of temporary structures and temporary installations, etc.), the party submits a request to the competent body of the City Administration with accompanying documentation location permit and main project with technical control). Upon the conducted procedure, the competent authority will issue a Decision on the building permit for carrying out preparatory works.

Based on Art. 78 of the Ordinance on the content, method and procedure for drafting spatial and urban planning documents, the competent authority shall issue an approval that the building plot is in accordance with the conditions laid down in the planning document, and if the planning document has not been adopted, in accordance with the sub-legal act laying down the general rules of subdivision, regulation and construction.

The purpose of the procedure is to determine the factual situation on the spot at the request of the taxpayer or ex officio. Upon completion of the procedure, the party receives a record.
