Biological parents of adopted children	On reaching 18 years of age, adopted children are entitled to be supplied with information about their biological parents. This information will be supplied by the County Governor for the county where the adoption was originally approved, provided that approval was granted before 1 January 1999. Information about adoptions approved after this date is supplied by the Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir).

Separation and divorce - forms	A married couple who no longer wish to live together can apply for separation and divorce. It is not necessary for both of you to agree on the separation, and there is no duty to give reasons. The county governor will contact your spouse if you apply alone. Application forms should be sent to the County Governor's Office in the county where the couple last lived together.
Confirmation of child custody	A confirmation of child custody states who is registered as having custody of a child. You may need such confirmation to support applications to a bank or insurance company for example.
