Payments for job seekers
We offer income support and other help if you’re looking for work or completing approved studies to help you get a job.
Newstart Allowance
The main income support payment while you’re unemployed and looking for work.
Youth Allowance
Financial help if you’re either 24 or younger and a student or Australian Apprentice, or 21 or younger and looking for work.
