Users can apply online passport
Search District Passport Cell on Passport Seva Portal
Search information on District Passport Cells across all the states of the country on Passport Seva Portal. Users can get address and contact number of District Passport Cells by entering PIN code or by selecting State and district.
Locate Passport Services Centre of your state
Users can locate Passport Seva Kendra (passport service centres) of all the states in country. This online service is provided by the Consular Passport and Visa Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. You can search the details of passport centre by selecting a state, city and pin code.
Check status of passport, diplomatic passport and RTI applications
Check the status of passport, diplomatic/official passport and RTI applications. This facility is provided by the Consular, Passport and Visa Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. Users can find the status of passport applications by providing the file number and date of birth of applicant. RTI application status can be tracked by giving the reference number. Diplomatic and Official passport application status can be obtained by providing the ARN number.
Lodge and track grievances for Passport services
Lodge passport related grievances and track grievance status through Passport Seva Portal. Users can file the grievances by providing reference number, name of the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), name of the applicant, contact details, type of problem and description of the grievance in an online form. Applicants can also check the status of registered grievances filed through the portal. Link of portal of Public Grievances Redress and Monitoring System is also provided. Option to send feedback, appreciation or passport related information request is also available.

Apply for Passport online at various Indian Missions or Posts. This facility is available for the Non-Resident Indians (NRI). Services such as fresh Passport, reissue of Passport, new Passport in lieu of damaged/lost Passport, children Passport, etc. can be availed through this service. Users can fill the online form by providing information such as name of the mission, personal details, family details, previous Passport information, etc. Option to reprint the registered users’ application form is also available.
