Exchanging an appartment in the State sector

Tenants of State-owned accommodation who wish to exchange their apartment can be placed on the exchange of State-owned apartments register, and can consult it. When two (or more) households agree to exchange their respective apartments, they must send a request to the Housing Department which can agree to or refuse the exchange

Making a declaration concerning housing under Act No. 887

Owners of residential properties (built before 1 September 1947) which come under the Act no. 887 of 25/06/1970 must respect the rent procedure instituted by article 3 of the Ordinance no. 4.621 of 29/12/1970 . A declaration of vacancy must be made within 8 days of vacating the property. At the same time, or when the property is occupied once again, a rental declaration or a declaration of free accommodation must be made. Before the property is let, the owner or their representative must submit a rent declaration to the Housing Department.
