| Description: | The service is part of the processes of the supplementary protection certificate procedure. The maximum duration of the supplementary protection certificate is five years. In the case of medicines for which studies have been carried out in accordance with a pediatric investigation plan approved by the European Medicines Agency, this period may be extended after the prescribed conditions have been met on the basis of a request for an additional six months for the supplementary protection certificate. |
