The plan was developed through extensive national and Government consultations and aims to draw urgent attention to the need to make more intelligent use of the country’s financial, human, and other resources, towards the creation of lasting prosperity. With a significant emphasis on Innovation and Human Capital Development, it is the first phase of a larger National ICT roadmap which is described within the Plan itself. The Key Imperatives identified under this thematic area include: Building an e-Ready Society through ICT Enriched Learning; Creating and Promoting Local Digital Content; and Establishing a Culture of Research and Development. |
