The service of the Croatian Insurance Institute - HZZO, which gives the insured (citizens of the Republic of Croatia) the possibility to apply for the issuance of a European Health Insurance Card (ECHR), by which insured persons are entitled during their temporary stay in the area Of the European Union, for private or business reasons, at contracting physicians, and at the expense of HZZO, use urgent medical services necessary for medical reasons, taking into account the nature of health services and the expected length of stay. |
