In order for vehicles to be licensed for use, these need to be certified as roadworthy and safe to be used on public roads according to the manuals approved by the Transport Malta. A VRT test means an examination of a vehicle carried out by a licensed Tester in order to certify that it is in a roadworthy condition and meets the established standards. A licensed Vehicle Tester means a competent person who has been licensed by the Transport Malta to inspect and certify vehicles as roadworthy. |
