Visa to enter the United States (Waiver visa)
Chileans wishing to travel for business or tourism to the United States can access the visa waiver program, which allows visiting that country for a maximum of 90 days, without the need to be visaed. That is, instead of having to go to the consulate and acquire the physical visa, now you must request authorization to travel by entering the Electronic Travel Authorization System (ESTA).
Single or multiple tourist visa for foreigners (request from abroad)
It allows foreigners who wish to visit our country to request a tourist visa for recreational or similar purposes at the Chilean consulate. Those interested can opt for the tourism visa: Simple: only includes an entry into the country. Multiple: considers multiple incomes and exits during the validity of the document. The nationals of the countries with which Chile maintains a tourist visa exemption regime are exempted
Resident visa subject to contract for foreigners (application abroad)
It allows foreigners hired by a legally constituted company in Chile to obtain the residence visa subject to the work contract holder, a document that has a maximum duration of two years. Interested parties may request a permanent residence permit within 90 days prior to the expiration of the visa, as long as they have two years of residence in the country and do not register more than 180 days of absence from the country during the last year.
Residence visa for foreign students (application abroad)
It allows foreigners to study in Chile, as regular students of educational establishments of the State or individuals recognized by it. Interested parties may request a permanent residence permit within 90 days prior to the expiration of the visa, as long as they have two years of residence in the country and do not register more than 180 days of absence from the country during the last year.
