Grant for funeral and coffin transportation arrangements
Funeral grant is available when the deceased was a member of the National Insurance Scheme. Funeral grant is means-tested. Under certain conditions it is also possible to get a grant to have the coffin transported to the cemetery closest to the former residence of the deceased.

Getting married in Norway with a foreign citizen
Before you can get married, the Norwegian Tax Administration must check whether you meet the conditions for entering into marriage. This means that you have to provide some information. The process takes about two to three weeks, so make sure you allow plenty of time before the wedding.
