Application for parental benefit, family allowances and additional contributions to the pension system
You are entitled to submit an application for the receipt of parental benefit and family benefits, as well as to apply for making additional contributions to mandatory pension fund. You can also submit an application for the waiver of supports, benefits or making additional contributions to mandatory pension fund.
Childbirth allowance
You can apply for the one-time childbirth allowance from the City of Tallinn immediately after the birth is registered. To use the E-service you need to have the ID-card and a computer that has been configured so that you are able to provide the digital signature. You can submit the application in the self-service portal.
Applying for maintenance allowance
Maintenance allowance can be applied for by a parent who is raising child alone, if he or she has brought an action against the other parent to claim the maintenance
Child support debt
Allows to check whether there is a debt on payment of the alimony for the person about whom the request is made. If the person has an alimony debt, then the debt is displayed by numerical value.

The aim of the childcare service is to support the parent or the guardian in working and coping or under a contract also the carer's work or coping related with caretaking of a child in a family.

Population Register
You will need to register your place of residence in the Population Register. This is a crucial step before other actions, such as finding places in schools or kindergartens, applying for social benefits, etc. You can submit a notice of residence at the seat of the local government or in the State Portal via the ‘Registering a place of residence’ e-service.
Query of own data and underage children
Query allows a person to view actual data stated about him/her and his/her underage children or person under guardianship in the Population Register. Displayed is data about person’s name, personal identification code, date of birth, place of residence, citizenship, education, mothers tongue, marital status, data about documents and also data about underage children and person’s under guardianship.

The e-notary systems allows private individuals and representatives of companies and institutions to access notarised documents related to them (first of all, contracts, warrants and applications).
