Annual Budget Statement
The National Budget is the government's plan of income and expenditure for the year ahead. The budget is presented by the Ministry of Finance at the beginning of the government's financial year, which runs from October 1st to September 30th. The budget is usually presented in Parliament by the end of September, but must be presented no later than October 15th every year.
Regional Micro-Project Fund
Regional Micro-Project Fund. The Regional Micro-Project Fund (RMPF) provides micro-grants to non-governmental organisations (NGOs), community based organisations (CBOs) and faith based organisations (FBOs) to finance projects to benefit the poor and vulnerable in their communities. Organisations applying for grants under this programme may also benefit from micro-business training, capacity-building and institutional strengthening and support, as well as information sharing on poverty related issues.
