In Italy,car registration is provided directly by the car dealers,which are connected by a private network to the Ministry of Transport and the Public Car Register (PRA). The network includes approximately 6,000 desk points across the country. All the desk points are connected to the procedures for car registration by a unified online access point (Sportello telematico cooperante).
