Pre-examination of the English name of the importing manufacturer	Before applying for registration as an importer, you should first apply to the International Trade Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs for pre-examination of whether the English name is the same or similar; if the English name of the pre-examination is approved, the retention period is 6 months.
Importer registration	To apply for registration of importers (including new registration, change registration, re-registration), please first apply for pre-examination of the English name. After approval, you can apply for registration of the importer.
