Permit shop closing hours
According to the National Ordinance of shop closing hours, it's prohibited to have a shop open to the public on: a) Sundays and certain holidays- and memorial days; b) on other days before 6.00 hrs. and after 18.30 hrs. On request an exemption can be granted for the shops to be opened during the week till 24:00 hrs. (midnight) and on Sundays and certain holidays- and memorial days from 9:00 to 22:00 hours.
Request for a Cooperative society by Aruban law
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to establish and to operate a business, to take over or to continue a business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods and/or services. An Aruban born Dutch national or a person nationalized as Dutch citizen in Aruba and who is 18 years or older, does not require a business license to act as chairman of a cooperative society according to this ordinance and the Business Licensing guidelines.
Request for a Foundation by Aruban law
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to establish and to operate a business, to take over or to continue a business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods, services or both. An Aruban born Dutch national or a person nationalized as Dutch citizen in Aruba and who is 18 years or older, does not require a business license to act as chairman of a Foundation according to this ordinance and the Business Licensing guidelines.
Request for a General Partnership
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to establish and to operate a business, to take over or to continue a business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods and/or services. Partner(s) of a General Partnership is (are) required to operate a business in accordance with said ordinance.

According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to establish and to operate a business, to take over or to continue a business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods and/or services. Partners of a limited partnership, with the exception of the limited partnership itself, are required to operate a business according to this ordinance.
