Request for a company governed by foreign law with one or more managing director(s) subject to a license
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to establish and to operate a business, to take over or to continue a business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods and/or services. An Aruban born Dutch national or a person nationalized as Dutch citizen in Aruba and who is 18 years or older, does not require a business license to act as director, according to this ordinance and the Business Licensing guidelines.

According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to establish and to operate a business, to take over or to continue a business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods and/or services. According to the Business Licensing Ordinance and the applicable guidelines no license is required to act as branch-manager for the Aruban establishment.
Request for amendment of the license (other than amendment of business-nature) of an existing established business
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to make any change of the business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods, services or both. This includes the expansion or any change of the business activity.

Request for one or more (new) managing director(s) subject to a license
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance and Business Licensing Guidelines, it is prohibited to act as managing director of a corporation, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs, with the exception of an Aruban born Dutch national or a person nationalized as Dutch citizen in Aruba and who is 18 years or older.
Request for one or more branches of a company under Aruban or foreign law which already is operating a local business with the necessary license
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance it is prohibited to establish and to operate a business, to take over or to continue a business, without a license of the Minister of Economic Affairs. A business is defined as any organization involved in the trade of goods and/or services. A branch is a separate establishment of a company other than at the location of the main headquarter for which a license already exists.
Request withdrawal of existing business license(s) by the Minister of Economic Affairs - DEACI
According to the Business Licensing Ordinance license(s) granted by the Minister of Economic Affairs can be withdrawn, either in conformity with article 7 of mentioned ordinance or on request of the interested party.
